We are Pittsburgh’s only certified Iyengar Yoga studio. All of our teachers have extensive training in the Iyengar method, and each continues to improve her/his practice and teaching skills. We work as a team, with a systematic approach, to help our students progress through the many practices of yoga regardless of their fitness level, age or limitations.

You can always drop-in to try a class and register in person.
Our classes run in 12-week sessions with a short break between quarters. You may begin at any time. It is not necessary to start at the beginning of a quarter although, for level 1 classes, it is advisable. Just choose a class from the schedule page and either pre-register using the MindBody app or pay at class time with a check made out to Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh (IYIP). There is no need to call ahead. Just show up a few minutes early for your first class to fill out our New Student Registration form.

2016 was a year of transformation for Yoga On Centre, her staff and her students. She became the 501(c)(3) non-profit Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh. The new website, which is currently under construction, will be www.iyengaryogapittsburgh.org. We will let you know here when the site is ready and up. Both addresses, yogaoncentre.com and iyengaryogapittsburgh.org will lead to the same website once things are completed. The only immediate change for students is to please write all checks for classes, or donations, to Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh (or IYIP for short.) We look forward to some exciting changes and growth. This new format allows us to receive support so we might spread the benefits of Iyengar Yoga to a wider audience. We’ll keep you posted as to how you can help the mission.
